Gary Barkemeyer

The information we had been given was that Gary passed away in 1997. Public records show that Gary actually passed away at the age of 20 in 1974.  He was born Gary Arthur Barkemeyer, (son of Winston and Lora Barkemeyer). He was born on December 25, 1953 in Los Angeles and passed away on January 6 1974 in Los Angeles. Gary also had an older brother, Kurt Ralph Barkemeyer who was born August 14, 1952. Maybe some of you knew him? Garys parents passed away not too long ago, his mother at age 81 in 2002 and his father at the age of 84 in 2006.

I Pray for Gary "A Prayer for the Forgotten Deceased"

O Merciful God,
take pity on those souls
who have no particular friends and intercessors
to recommend them to You, who,
through length of time are forgotten
by their friends and by all.
Spare them, O Lord,
and remember Your own mercy,
when others forget to appeal to it.
Let not the souls which You have created
be parted from You, their Creator.

May the soul of Gary and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
