If Pat were alive today he would be my big brother, have a dozen neices and nephews (step and real) and spend Super Bowl Sunday with Uncle Clyde at our parents home. My father and Pat's mother have been married for 27 years and now live in Santa Barbara.
I spent the last summer of Pat's life (Aug 1973) with him in and out of the hospital. I was the last person to talk to him alive. It was a magical moment and I know he is at peace. I credit Pat for the work I do today.

Sharon, that is amazing info. Thanks for sharing all of that. Sounds very realistic and I would agree with all of that. I never knew Pat up close and personal, but he had a sweet soul and persona and was always kind and I never remember anything bad about him. He was an athlete and strong and in good physical condition. I remember back when we heard of his passing and what a shock it was that someone so vibrant and young would leave this world so soon. He had a lot of potential to offer this world and the people who loved him. Thanks again for sharing...Pat's life with us.

I could go to the Library and see if I can find anything, and let you know.

For Pat I Pray:

God our Father,
Your power brings us to birth,
Your providence guides our lives,
and by Your command we return to dust.

Lord, those who die still live in Your Presence,
their lives change but do not end.
I pray in hope for Pat,
and for all the dead known to You alone.

In company with Christ,
Who died and now lives,
may they rejoice in Your Kingdom,
where all our tears are wiped away.
Unite us together again in one family,
to sing Your praise forever and ever.

Amen.
