Ann Wakefield (Pearson)

I just found out from Janet Stolaroff (Heining) that Ann passed away several years ago. I did some research and found out the following information:

Ann was born Ann Elizabeth Wakefield on May 7, 1954.  Her mothers maiden name was Blose.

At age 21 she married Edward F. Pearson (age 23) in Los Angeles on May 31, 1975. Ann passed away in November, 2004 at the age of 50.

Ann was a teacher at the Clairbourn School (a Christian Science school) located in San Gabriel.

A Humanitarian Award was set up at the Clairbourn School in memory of Ann. Donations can be made here: Humanitarian Award

There was no photo of Ann in the 1972 Copa so if you have a photo of her please forward it to me. I only have the 72' Copa. If you have a 70 or 71 Copa take a look to see if she is there.

The last memory I have of Ann Wakefield was when we were freshmen in college. Jan Stolaroff had invited me to join them for lunch. We got together at their apartment in L.A. We hadn't seen each other in a while and we enjoyed catching up. I brought flowers. Jan set the table with placemats and cloth napkins. It was a simple meal with good friends that I still remember fondly. I would expect that in the years to follow many others would enjoy Ann Wakefield's gracious hospitality and that she is missed by everyone whose life she touched.
